I first downloaded this on kindle unlimited and got to reading and just had to buy the hard copy! So much more than fire cider info. It has recipes to make good healthy foods with incorporating some of the fireciders, which is my favorite part! I have been drinking ACV since I downloaded this book first, so maybe for 5 days or so and my skin is sooo friggin clear! I have been detoxing from birth control and my hormonal acne has been horrendous, so I thought I give it a shot and my skin feels better than ever! I am obsessed with all natural things and this really helps put things into perspective! This may be a book that I regularly buy and give to friends and family!

A few good recipes, but VERY low on variety
Derived From Web , Apr 26, 2020
Boring and repetitive Every recipe is a repeat of the one before it, with only the slightest variation of 1-3 ingredients. Skip this and use Google just to search for ideas for Fire Cider.

A delightful tribute to an incredible remedy!!!
Derived From Web , Dec 31, 2019
From start to finish, this book is pure joy! Full color throughout the pages dance with so many different versions and recipes for fire cider that I will spend years concocting new creations! I loved the stories, anecdotes, food recipes containing fire cider and cameos from leading herbalists around the country. The quick recipes that allow to have fire cider ready to go in hours rather than weeks were greatly appreciated as well. Thank you, Rosemary Gladstar and your band of herbalists, for fighting the good fight and keeping fire cider in the public domain!

A Valuable Resource and a Beautiful Book
Derived From Web , Dec 15, 2019
The first thing I noticed about this book is how beautiful it is - just looking at that cheerful cover makes me happy! And the interior is just filled with beautiful illustrations and photos. But make no mistake, this is also a book of substance. In this book, Rosemary shares her original recipe and tells the story of Fire Cider from when she first created it, through to the recently-won court battle over the name. She provides good background information about the use of vinegar in folk medicine throughout history, and includes recipes for making your own apple cider vinegar. But what I think makes this book really special is that it shares various variations of the fire cigarette recipes created by many herbalists across the country. There are recipes for oxymels, vinegar tonics, topical recipes as well as recipes for using fire cinder in the kitchen.

A Go-to Resource for Fire Cider
Derived From Web , Dec 14, 2019
Rosemary Gladstar loves '' ; Gladstar! She is my trusted source of information. Bought the book and I'm making Fire Cider for my Christmas gifts this year for my family and even got ideas for an additional gift! The best part is really the stories and the sense of community presented here. The only thing I think could have improved it was a little more from Rosemary herself. In all, I highly recommend this book! Despite my fangirling about Rosemary Gladstar, I still have a fangirling about.

my most trusted herbal recipe books over the years are from Rosemary
Derived From Web , Oct 31, 2019
I began my own journey with medicinal herbal recipes shared freely over 25 years ago. I am thrilled with this amazing book of recipes. I had heard tid bits of rumors about the local theft of our trademark co-op with Fire Starter over the last year. I am thrilled to hear that the court case against them has won. Rosemary, I have always used your books as my foundation. I implicitly trust your recipes ''.

adding different ingredients to the fire cider for added heajth benefits
Derived From Web , Oct 27, 2019
Rosemary Gladstar I love. I have learned all her books and have so much to learn from her. i've been waiting for this book for years. I now have egg shells in some homemade apple cider and have dark chocolate in Bourbon ready to go into some fire cider. I am on oxygen for lung complaints after pneumonia, so I take the fire cider at the first symptom of a cold I make that and apple cider vinegar for all my friends. I also do my elderberry syrup for all my friends.
