   The pictures are great and we go through each one while I say ...
We bought this book for his 1st birthday for my son and he loves it. It really stands up to him turning the pages and throwing his little finger on the pictures to point at them. The pictures are great and we go through each one, while I say the words for him. It is a great addition to your growing library of tots.

   Tiny but fun for babies....
This is a tiny book. I thought it was going to be a regular size, but it is little. At first, I was kind of sad about it, but then when I began to read it to my daycare babies, I actually love it, because their little hands can hold it and turn the pages easily. Bright colors and fun to read! Really bright '', really bright! ! !

Glad I paid less than $4 for this or else I would have returned it. Not as great as my first 100 words. This book is a pretty random collection of what appears to be a collection of stolen animal photos thrown together with a handful of animals making repeated appearances.

   Perfect Size
Love the Book : My 13 month old loves to look at the picture of all the different animals. There are some repeats, but they are dog and puppy and cat and then kitten teaching the baby names of the animals, which i find important. It is also smaller, so that i can easily throw it in my purse when we walk out the door for something to occupy him while we are out.

   My daughter is in love with this book
My daughter is in love with this book. She is 2 and everything with animals she is all about. Every night we spend time before the bed going over the animals and the sounds they make. I get to spend great quality time with my daughter helping her learn thanks to this book. I also have to brag on the book because it is built to last even a destructive child.

   Tons of repeats
My little loves her first 100 words, so we got this one because she is so interested in animals. All of these books annoy me because there are ALWAYS repeated words. This is by far the worst. It repeats elephants zebra, owl, lion frog penguin turtle, monkeys - orangutan, gorilla, money-all on a previous page. I like that they have different environments - river and lake, under the sea, farm, “wild animals ”, birds, pets, Australian bugs, the issue I have is that they could have selected more variety to actually make 100 animals. My little one still picks this one and loves it so that it is worth it. But it is just annoying to not have 100 different animals.

   Fun while learning. Thick, strong, sturdy book that can be wiped with a damp cloth.
All I can say is that this book should be in every household with toddlers. With this book our grandchildren have so much fun. They are learning and having loads of fun! The book is thick, sturdy, and is able to wipe with a wet cloth! Learning to recognize 100 animals and spell 100 of them! Husband and I giggle and carryon while helping our grandchildren read, learn and have fun at the same time! I am impressed with this book and the results. Well packaged with no delivery issues whatsoever.

Good but wish the pictures were larger. It is thick with sturdy pages, but there are too many images on a page. Would have liked for the images to be larger and spread on more pages.

   We love the '100 First' books
I love these books, we have all of them except the truck. My 18 month old loves them and he reads them all the time. He can say the name of almost every image in each of the books and has yet to tire of any of them. We do have different word books, but the size of these is really what makes these preferable to my little one. He can easily carry them around, hold them and turn pages. The sides are more sturdy and the cover is a plush vinyl. These books comfortably fit in a diaper bag or a briefcase, making them perfect for travel!

   Bigger than I expected
The size of the book is bigger than I expected. I had the smaller version before the children ripped it up. It's ok, but the previous version was better. They combined animals so that there are less pages to turn, less to keep the kids interested in because of that. I dislike that they have baby animals and then the same adult animals. But still it is great to see all the animals.
