I dislike this book with a passion
Some of the stories are cute, the images are ok, and the padded binding is beautiful, but many of the stories are horrible, which makes me wish I could return it. The Brothers Grimm tales, which are too violent and scary, are included in the stories. How the Rhinoceros Got His Skin is a story of revenge and is one of the stories that have negative values. The stories are too long for my 3- year- old, and sometimes the vocabulary they use is too advanced. If I could return it, I would.

   Perfect!
Awesome content and illustrations. I like sharing my childhood stories with my kids. My imagination was shaped by so many classics. The stories are short enough to be read at night.

Beautiful book but a bit small
I gave this book five stars because of the beautiful illustrations and the fact that it is all classic stories in one. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm going to give these classics to my daughters.

Language Style May Be Too Complex for Younger Children
The stories are written for adults. Many phrases and words are more appropriate for older children and adults than younger children.

Really nice book and worth the money
My son enjoys the stories in this book. I was disappointed that the stories have been changed a lot and are not really what I remember from my childhood. It doesn't matter, as he loves them and makes me read them every night. It's an excellent value because it covers almost all of the fairy tales I know. I bought 2 other Ubsourne fairy tales and a Hans Christian Andersson book.

Just the right length for story time
The length of the stories and the pictures make up for the fact that I do not agree with some of them. It works well for story time before bed.

   Beautiful illustrations and great adaptations
This book is what I was looking for. This is perfect because I wanted to add variety to our stories. There is a huge collection of classic stories. My 4 year old loves it and I can see him reading it.
