Book Overview

A bind-up of the first two books in V.C. Andrews's classic Flowers in the Attic series, an international phenomenon

Read the first two books in the chilling Flowers in the Attic saga, which has been enjoyed by millions of teens and adults for more thirty years

In Flowers in the Attic and Petals on the Wind, Chris, Cathy, Cory, and Carrie had the perfect lives--until a tragic accident changed everything. Now they are trapped in their grandparents' attic, waiting for Momma to figure out what to do next. As the days turn into weeks and the weeks into months, the unspeakable horrors that plagued them are rivaled only by the sinful jealousies that begin to rise.

   Love this
I read them as a young girl and loved them... I decided to buy them and read the series again. This is still a good series, even if all the incest is a bit disgusting. My only complaint is that it appears that the publisher did not have an editor or staff to proofread before printing... so many typos and punctuation errors. I know that it should not bother me, but it does.

   very thick
I read this book back in high school, which was 40 years ago, and was happy to see it re-released in a book that has the first two books in one, but it is very thick, so it makes it a little difficult to hold, but a great deal, much less than buying both books separately and i loved the cover, GREAT BOOK!

   Teen Classic
This is a fantastic book, although it is truly a warped story line. BUT I read this in high school with my girlfriends, as did my older teens and now the next generation of high school children and friends finds this an amazing read as well. Wicked and Twisted Awesome.

I read Flowers In The Attic back in the 70's ...
I read Flowers In The Attic back in the 70s when it was written and I received goose bumps because some of what was published seemed so eerily familiar. From what I can remember when I was a toddler, I think I was one of those children in this book, which is a real-time account of fictional events ''. After living with our grandparents, I and my 3 siblings were sent to the Methodist Children's Home in Richmond, VA in the early 1950's.

Just received this novel and came looking used. Unfortunately, I can 't return it, because it is a Christmas present. Very disappointed ''.

   LOVE THIS SERIES
She is a badass writer who writes about subjects that people are afraid to talk about and scandals. So, never read something so fast!
