   Sort of boring
It's kind of boring, but the part when Rip was hit by a snowball in the face was pretty funny. Age 7 :

   Great story for boys
He received this book in the Christmas series. Finally, we got a chance to read together this book. If he is really interested in the book, it seems to be easier for me to read him.

7 year old son loves it!
My second grade son is in live with the notebook of the doom series. This is the first time I have had him ask me a book and give him a gift card. I gave him money. He reads the books alone and speaks to his 5 year-old brother and himself. He consumed this book in about 3 hours. Merci beaucoup to Troy Cummings for bringing these books to my sons!

   Great for kids
These are great books to make my son want to read instead of watching video games. They are really cute and each has more than four words. I have been watching him read these and he will sit with these books for a few hours and be occupied.

Fantastic series and a great read for kids
This series of the books is truly one of the best. My 5 and 7 year old get right into the story, love the characters, examine the illustrations and are not only engaged, but find the reading level to be challenging and accessible. This is just one series in the Branches collection and each title carries its own charm and story. We love her and are certain that you will too.

Great price, easy read, fun stories!
My son is in the First Grade, Age 7 and reads at a Level LM. These are perfect for his age group and his reading level, and he absolutely loves the pictures and story lines. I would recommend purchasing the whole series if you have a reader who is interested in monster books with pictures set in chapters.

   Great Series
This is a wonderful series of books written and illustrated. Follow Alexander Bopp on a journey through his new home town, battling monsters as he meets a few new friends and teams up with them to save his school and town. Each book can be standalone, but sometimes they draw on previous stories.

   Great
So good that each individual book works - you don 't have to buy the whole series - but we did!

Another great Notebook of Doom story!
My second son loves to read and LOVES all things spooky. Although he loves to read, he has been a little behind in reading chapter books. These are the first chapter books he has been really into. He can read them on his own, but struggles slowly and reads with an occasional word. They are definitely age appropriate though and he is beginning to read them independently to get faster. Whether he read them on his own or we read them to him, he is completely captivated by these stories. He loves the monsters and the art works throughout the book. I also enjoy the stories as a parent. They are obnoxious stories without any cute, funny characters or storylines. I love that my son is so absorbed in the stories and so much fun reading them!
