My son has been asking for a Fly Guy book for a while and I thought that this would be a winner and was right. He loved it absolutely. It is a crazy story filled with imagination and mixes two of his favorite fly guys and that cute world of zombiesFrankensteinmad scientist. It was a short read, but was good enough for his age, not too long to be boring. He enjoys reading it both when I practice it to him and when he read it himself.

Good for teaching how photos help tell the story.

Some of the Fly Guy books make me nuts... this one I actually like! It has opened the door to different literary types, because most of the story is a dream. My son did not fully understand at first, but I showed him how the illustrations separated the everyday's stuff from Buzz's dream. Great opportunity to talk about text features photos and how they help tell the story... that they are not just pretty .
