Fly Guy moves into science education
In typically fashion, and with an early reader vocabulary, Arnold and Fly Guy provide a whirlwind tour of sharks and their environs in a perfect K and pre-K chunk. Mixing fly photography and irreverent tour guides, Fly Guy is a charming and witty tour guide. My daughter learned some things, but was not overwhelmed by too many, he said. It looks like this is the first of a series of science-themed adventures and if so, we eagerly await the next one while applauding this one.

   Another win for Tedd Arnold
It's great to be back home reading the Fly Guy series. Thanks to book fairs, I have all the books. These are great starting points for my students who have difficulty with longer text or identifying important facts. I still have a lot of these books in my library. Sharks is a welcome addition that may soon need replacing because so many have read it since I brought it to school in May, Mr. Douce told the Register. We're excited to be working with Shane again, said executive producer Brian Grazer.

The graphics and images of the Kindle version are excellent and the text is very informational
A former New York Times best-selling novelist, Fly Guy is now a non-fiction writer. Suitable for all ages, but it is especially suitable for those with lower levels of English reading ability and/or EFL students. The graphics and images are excellent and the text is very informative, the reviewer said.

Great way to introduce nonfiction to children
Those people seem to have no idea what they're buying,' said Dr. Julie Gerberding of the Children's Hospital at Montefiore. The book is presented as a nonfiction text, with straightforward facts about sharks, photographs, and is published by Scholastic Press. It was never intended to be a fly book. It is part of a new series of books designed to help bridge kids from fiction to nonfiction texts by using a familiar fictional character to host the facts. But for many kids, informational texts are what they need to be able to comprehend more and more of the world around them.

   Fly Guy Presents: Sharks
It was a disappointment, and so were my grandkids. The company said it lost interest because it wasn't the usual Guy Fly Books. We were expecting the Sharks to be swallowing Fly Guy and having some experience, but it was more about the history of the sharksharks. It wasn't what we expected, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

   Great shark book
She said her son, 4 1/2, "loves sharks." The book is great, said Dr. Chester Floyd, who heads the university's English department. He's a huge fan of the "fly guy" series. The deductible is $2,400.

   Fun elementary read on sharks
His other books include "American Masters" and "The Fly Guy's New Republic." Even with the light filtering through, the pictures are vivid. The explanation is plain and easy to understand, Hurley said. My son is 4 and 7 years old.

Perfect blend of fiction & non-fiction
A great mix of fiction and non-fiction, he said. Interesting facts and neat pictures capture the reader's attention and make it a little easier to comprehend, Crane said. My son absolutely loves them, said Jennette Tamayo.

   We loved this book
My son, who is 7 years old, and I read this several times. He liked the ending of the book. The quick facts are intriguing and make you want to learn more, he said. Thanks for the fly guy! From Charles Taylor: "The Fall of Charles" (1848).
