My seven-year old Alexa loves Fly Guy books. On her own, she went to work on a letter to the author thanking him. I have sent it to the publisher just like that. Mr. Arnold receives it with hope.

Family feeling in the fly realm
Derived From Web , Oct 1, 2017
Kids tend to be warmly attached to their families, if not too dysfunctional, and this story celebrates the love of the family. Buzz notices Fly Guy tracing pictures of his mother and his father and feels sorry that his pet never sees his relatives. Since the clan includes thousands of cousins added to parents, brothers, sisters, etc., this gets comical. But I could see when reading the book with a six-year-old and a nine-year-old boy that the boys were in total sympathy with affectionate family ties - human or othwise. This is a great story with a sweet little message. Dialog, illustrations and humor are all up to the high standards of this charming series.
