For anyone who wants to be challenged to be a better person
At the end of each month, my students share a book celebration where they do their favorite book of the month. Forget Me Not has been shared so far this year so far. When it was in the return basket one day, I knew that it was my night to read it. I devoured this book in a night. Ellie Terry shows you what it is like to have Tourette's syndrome by putting yourself inside Calliope's head and heart. This book should be read by everyone.

I read this book and loved it. As a teacher
I have read and loved this book. As a teacher, we love when our students fall in love with a book. I am so glad that I chose this book as the first read aloud of our class. I taught teaching for 24 years. I have seen a lot of books that children have absolutely loved, but this one wins the prize. My students were completely entranced, invested and so memorized by this book. It was for my class such a nice experience. When you get 100% of your students who cheer that it is aloud time, you know that you have found a truly special book. This is a book that should not be missed by teachers. It is a joy for parents, because their children love it!

Every Child Must Experience This Book
A novel in verse, FORGET ME NOT is a story about a girl called Calliope June who wants to live for a long time in a city, to make a friend. For Calliope, making friends is not easy since she has the Tourette syndrome. Hiding her ticks is difficult, especially when kids start to notice and comment how strange she is. When a new friendship begins for Calliope to bloom, will she have to move back? FORGET ME KNOT is an important book to have in every classroom and in the school library. Themes of acceptance, overcoming challenges and doing the right thing are threaded throughout this book. Ellie Terry, a Tourette syndrome diagnosed, paints a realistic picture of life for a child with TS. The characters linger in your heart and pull you long after you finish the book. Beautifully written''.
