The Beloved Frog and Toad Together

The discovery of these books made them books we had to consider, because my daughter's nursery is decorated in Frogs. The illustrations are enjoyable. She is too young to read her own books, but we read them to her. The central theme of the stories is do good for others, treat your friends with respect, and help your firends when they need help. These are virtues that can be taught to young minds. If the books were made in cardboard stock, Teah would be even more happy with them, as she frequently grabs one of them when she's ready to go to bed. By the time she starts to read, she will know the stories by heart, but that's ok - fond memeories of bedtime stories like these should help her build a lifelong interest in reading her own.

A true classic

My son likes the books in the set. The Frog and Toad musical was watched by him. There is a beautiful friendship between Frog and Toad that little kids understand. A great classic. If you are an Amazon Prime member, you can get a Frog and Toad musical CD for free.

Stands the test of time

I'm happy to say that my 4 year old absolutely loves these books, I grew up reading them and loving them. We read at least one Frog and Toad book every night after buying all of them. It's wonderful and charming and about a wonderful friendship.

It was a gift to my daughter. It's not compatible with Paperwhite, and even if it was, it's rendered in an unreadable tiny font in the fixed landscape 2 pages per screen layout that can't be changed. When we finally got the Paperwhite, and tried to use the book, the digital order return window was not open.

This collection of books and this story have become favorites. Every mom- to- be that I know will get a copy at her baby's shower. The stories are fun to read, the child is interested, and they are ethically and morally based. Absolutely delightful! It is!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was a copy from 1970 that was the original print date. The book is in good condition, but unsure if it's missing the jacket or not, but happy about its shape.
