Great for our watch and copy actions toddler!
I'm not a huge fan of Eric Carle. I like the books, but they are not our go to's. However, this one really stands out. My 17 month old loves this one. It's perfect for him because it encourages interaction. You can copy what animals do on the pages he loves. Touch your head, bend your neck, and so on. He likes for us to read the caption, look at the simple pictures, and then copy what's being done. We're teaching him what all the body parts are and it's a great learning tool. It's a board book that's perfect for his hands. Excellent page thickness and really good quality.

A GREAT gift for 1-2 year olds and beyond!
My 14 month old is fond of this book. It is great to watch her learn. She started clapping around 10 months ago, and now she's bending her neck, wriggling her hips, and raising her shoulders just last week. I plan to make this a regular birthday gift. Many reviewers think this can be a favorite for a long time. You can't go wrong with this one! The board book version is great for the younger set.

   Gigglefest!
I didn't expect my 18 month old son to laugh so much after reading this. He beats his chest when he wants to read. I love how it gets him moving, but we don't read it much for bed, so he still loves it.

   Wonderful, Fun, Kid's Love It!!
It looked cute and I bought it. I didn't know it would be the best book for toddlers. The girls are 2 and 3 years old. It makes them move their heads, shoulders, back, hips, toes, chest, legs and feet all while matching it to their favorite animals. Can you tell me I'm a penguin? I recommend this book to anyone who has young children. The various parts of their bodies are taught in this picture.

“Don’t judge a book by its cover.”
My daughter was excited when she received the book. I made it a project to fill out her Eric Carle collection because she loves The Very Hungry Caterpillar. As we cracked it open to give it a read, I was not excited to discover half of the pages were missing. I think someone forgot to open the book before shipping it. My daughter liked the pages that were included. The artwork is striking. The book is downstairs and I am writing in bed. Pictures can be requested upon request.

Not the full version? No flamingo inside the book
My son loves the paperback and it has nice print. I am not sure if this is the full version. My son wants to see a bird at the back of the book, but he can't find it inside the book. This is disappointing.

   Very cute interactive book!
The book is cute. I thought my toddler would like doing the actions. I was wrong. I read his answer to Can you do it? The question was a resounding no! We are going through a no phase right now. I think he'll like this book after the phase is over. It's a very cute book for young kids. I knocked off a star because there is a mistake, and added more pics of other pages.

   Expanding Mean Length of Utterance
I bought this book for my speech-language therapy practice and I am very pleased with how it applies to my students' goals. Can you do it? is one of the phrases in the book. It has been helpful for question asking, social communication in groups, and expanding M.L.U. Many of my kids don't get the actions at first, but they enjoy reading an interactive book.

Fun Book that Gets Little Ones Moving
The interactive book From Head to Toe encourages kids to stomp, bend and move like animals. The pictures are simple and colorful. The kids love this book, and I have used it in library story times. The result is a lot of laughter and wiggles. This book is great for teaching kids how to follow instructions. It's recommended for children ages 3-6. Sherry Ellis is the author of Don't Feed the Elephant!
