Laughs Galore

In general, my wife is not a reader. Through her job, she got burned out of reading. I enjoyed hearing her erupt in laughter as she read this book. Who knew that Ree Drummond is also a humorist!

If you do not like snakes do not buy this book, it's discussed too much
Derived From Web , Dec 31, 2020
I am a fan of Pioneer Woman, I enjoyed her cooking show and parts of the book were good. Her insane obsession, however, where she and her husband hide rubber snakes to scare one another, is silly, low class and annoying for anyone who does not like it. Whether for yourself or if buying the book as a gift do not give to someone who dislikes this topic, there is a couple of pages devoted to it as well as mention in the table of contents and cartoon drawing.

A great read! True life stories about her love life as ranchers wife,mom,blogger/photographer

I purchased it the other day and came in 2 days! Prime, you got to love it! I finished reading the book as soon as it was delivered yesterday around noon. I've not laid the book down. First it is funny as hell, secondly I absolutely love Ree and third there are recipes in the book that sound so damn good! As I read to write this review, I am 34 of the way through this book. But it's ok, I got her other book delivered today. If you love her or are looking for information about a truthful and meaningful marriage and life as a mom, ranchers - wife, blogger and food network host, try this book. Dump the Dragons will not be disappointed. Not to mention the bonus recipes .

Been a fan for years
Derived From Web , Nov 30, 2020
This is actually my 1st book purchase by Rea Drummond. Since Day 1, I have been watching her on the food network, I have tons of her baking line and I even went to Pawhuska to visit her mercandis and Charlie's sweet shop. This book made me laugh a few times, which is not always appropriate for work, but that is where I do most of my reading. I read it well, and I wish The Pioneer Woman nothing but continued success.

Just another blog post
Derived From Web , Nov 30, 2020
I was hoping for more of a storyline base, new information. This book explains why she hasn 't really blogged in the last year - its basically small blog posts have been put together into a book with very little depth.

Feels like coming home.
Derived From Web , Nov 30, 2020
Frontier Follies is a loud, tear jerker that reminds me of my childhood. I can relate to the daily struggle of ranching life -- personally growing up on a WI dairy farm ''. But it also becks all those childhood memories and thoughts of loved ones to the forefront of my mind. And the dogs, without them no story or life is complete. Charlieforever is #Maryco. I have loved Ree for years, and this makes me even more relative to her. And in my mind, cements them as that friend I wish I had and long to be.
