   My daughter loves Frosty and this was a hit
My three-year-old daughter is a big Frosty fan and enjoyed this little book very much. It is short enough to read for bedtime and has recognizable drawings. My daughter asked me why the lyrics of the song were not included in the words at all, so that it may be good for other potential buyers to know that this is not a sing-a-long book. It tells the story of how the snowman came to be, how the magician tries to catch the snowman, etc.

   I bought this along with two other Christmas themed Little ...
I bought this book together with two other Christmas-themed Little Golden Books. I had these same stories growing up and was excited to start reading them to my daughter and collecting them. Overall, they are OK, but the pages stick out further than the covers on all sides. They extend about 18 of an inch, in some cases slightly more. Aesthetically, this bothers me a lot, so I trimmed it all down. The quality seems decent other than that. We see how they hold over time.

My copy had a black smear on one of the pages, so that my book should have been in the Discount Pile or something similar for an imperfection. I 'd overlook an imperfection on most books, but something about a traditional Christmas book that I paid full price for makes me want it to be perfect.
