This is a great historical record of the struggle to avail the English ...
It was not the firs English translation, but very significant to the churches of the Protestant communities of Europe. The marginal remarks of its publishers were anti-Roman - Catholic and in favor of harmony in America, the KJV Jefferson appealed to the US Congress to promote the KJV over Geneva... and so it was. This is a great historical record of the struggle to get the English Bible into every believer in the Protestant churches.
   Beautiful Study Bible
The history of the Geneva Bible is incredible and this Bible is a masterpiece with maps and footnotes complete. Because of its size, not easily transported, will probably sit on your desk. Some of the verses are difficult to read because of the size of the typeface and the old spelling style.
Excellent resource for those who want to look back to ...
I found many differences between this and the 1611 King James version, some of which I believe are significant in nature.
   Geneva Bible
This is a very nice replica of the original. I would say that the type is a little difficult to read in places. In addition to this version for modern reading, a person could get a more modern style of reading. However, the replica is great because it is what our ancestors saw when they read the Bible.
   Very detailed
Great, but it has really small writing. I have a good eye sight, but I need a magnifying glass to read some of the text.
Very Interesting Early Version of the Bible
The content of this reproduction of the Geneva Bible of 1560 is very small and difficult to read, but very interesting once one learns to understand the Old English language. Some of the terms and symbols are not easily understood and it would be good if there was a glossary of terms available to help in reading this ancient Bible. It is, however, well worth knowing how Bibles appeared many years ago before the modern language versions existed.
The Geneva Bible - 1560 Edition, Black Leather.
This is the Geneva Bible more helpfully, Bible that I read before. And has more understanding for all people who study and want to know more from the word of God. The Bible has also some pictures, between the chapters. I have recommended for all people who like to know the word of God.
   Get out your magnifying glass
The font is very difficult to read, there is not much difference from KJV and is large and bulky.
   1560 Bible
