A good reminder

Dane Ortlund has take one subject, the heart of God and through Scripture and the Puritan fathers & others shown a light on all facets of His it. Through great prose he helps us unlock the prejudices we carry against divine love and our own salvation, freeing the reader to rest and rejoice in Him now snd eagerly await eternity with Him.

I started reading this book during a really hard season of life, and it helped me more than I can say. Ortlund shows places in Scripture where time and time again Jesus calls sinners and sufferers to Himself even when it doesn’t make sense. The book helped me let go of fears that I would never be good enough for God to accept me and to live by faith that He loves me beyond my understanding. I would highly recommend this book!
