Amazing & Inspiring Story.
Derived From Web , Mar 11, 2022
I really enjoyed the effort put in by the author to show the many aspects of Giannis' story, most of which were family, basketball as a career, immigration and racism, Zeller said. It really goes to show that great genetics don't result in a successful future without hard work, dedication and a great support system, he said. It's to see the level of racism still occurring in the world and how immigrants are often isolated because if it with no real path to improving their situation. We must be compassionate toward others, especially those that were not fortunate to have been born into good circumstances, he said.

Excellent story but writing is not great
Derived From Web , Sep 1, 2021
I am a huge and fan admirer of the Antentokounmpo family and knew many of the stories and interviews that are included in the book. Overall, I found the writing to be very good, but the style and quality of writing were not great. There were some inconsistencies, unexplained acronyms and early on the author spells the families names differently within a few pages. I hope the next edition can address these issues and overall edit the style of writing, Hollingworth said. His family and friends deserve that.

dont waste your money

The book was written poorly and feels like it was written for middle school students, Kirk said. She also brings up racism charges, saying the system is broken and that the government won't do anything about it. It's too show how far she is from her goal of becoming a racist, it seems. Pass this book.

Loved it!
Derived From Web , Aug 21, 2021
I couldn't be more proud of the journey that Giannis made to be where he is today. I'm glad I read this book because now I understand the journey even more. I'm thrilled we finally won another championship, Nelson said. Beyond sports, it tells the story of overcoming adversity and believing in yourself.

Beautifully written and insanely inspirational
Derived From Web , Aug 17, 2021
I couldn't put this book down. The story of Giannis, his brothers growing up in Greece as first generation immigrants fearing their parents being deported, facing racism and dealing with poverty, was told through the prism of a champion. Tracks the entire process and gives us insight into his struggles, growth, development and adjusting to new money and cold weather in Milwaukee. The book is also available on Amazon. com: "The Whole Nine Yards: The Untold Story of America's Greatest Homes." Mirin Fader has a gift for this kind of writing, Raymond said.

Bigger than Basketball
Derived From Web , Aug 12, 2021
A moving story of a remarkable person and his adopted home. I guarantee that every Bucks fan will find this article extremely useful. It's not just about basketball, Coach K said. It's about life, struggle and building a community, he said. Buy it and don't look back, he said. If you did, you'll be happy.

Giannis is a human-interest story and a basketball story
Derived From Web , Aug 11, 2021
I can't stop thinking about how this book was so much more than a basketball story. It's a human-interest story that uses basketball as a backdrop to tell a fascinating story of growth, Copps said. It touches on statelessness, identity, personal development, heartbreak, happiness and so much more without ever losing sight of the overarching themes. It's beyond obvious that Mirin Fader conducted one interview after another, always searching for that one extra detail that can bring the already fully alive story to life.
