The artwork speaks to my soul!
After reading the reviews, I was a bit worried about buying another deck, but I chose this one and I'm so happy I did! I received my package in five days. That's including the day I placed my order, as it sounds like the artwork speaks to me and it's beautiful. I feel like with more practice, I can give more accurate predictions. I think it looks a lot better without boarders. I like that it's in a box and not a bag. A pet peeve. I wish that the cards were shiny. They would' ve looked pretty.

Nice artwork, poor quality on thickness of cards.
After waiting 4 months for the deck to be released, I returned it. My deck was not guilded at all, and when guided is in the actual title of the deck, you expect it to be just that. Very disappointing that the cards are not thick. The price is nice, but I need more from the deck. It's pathetic that the book comes with it. It's a small black and white binded pamplet. Don't waste your hard earned money. As many other card decks provide, there is no sturdy good size box.

Not Gilded by any means but pretty I guess.
When a product is labeled Gilded, I expect gold leaf not just the look of expense from the art alone, and when I heard about them the were definitely supposed to have that, unfortunately cheap publish ruined the deck quality. These cards are not up to snuff. I was looking forward to the pretty shimmer with pretty artwork, but these cards are flimsy and don't have any weight to them. I shuffled and bent, not accepted by any means. It is pretty because Ciro Marchetti does great artwork. It isn't usable for my intended purposes so I may just use them for teaching. I wish I'd just bought the Tarot Grand Luxe instead of spending my money on this deck. I am very disappointed in this purchase. I would love to get my money back.

   Really???
My first tarot cards were from Marchetti. I own the same thing as him, and I was expecting the same quality. Not at all. Not even close. The deck feels like a toy. The box is a joke, but they are not gilded. Going back again...

Difference in publishers makes a Difference
I own most of the artists's decks, so I was happy to pre- order this deck in borderless. Ciro's deck has 3x5 cards, but it has a border. I assumed that the publisher of Tarot Grand Luxe would be the same as the one for Tarot Gilded Royale. The standard size of these cards from Llewelyn is not 3x5 so I miss that. The LWB is worthless. Barbara Moore spent her time on this. There is a cheap cardboard box with cards in it. These aren't worthy of the artwork of Ciro. If Ciro ever creates another borderless tarot deck, I will order from his website first, since he takes the time to make sure everything is first rate.
