   good book
As simply stated, this book is great. You can tell it is an older book because it is written for normal people. I don 't care about the name of every star or their bearing, as they relate to the Earth. I just want to be able to look at night and know what I am looking at. I wish the writer would make a bigger and better book with more constellations in it ; I 'd be surprised by it tomorrow. This book is for the average person who wants to know the Big Dipper just by the name of each star.

Paperback is Not what I expected.
On the paperback, the cover is only dark in the glow. The article led me to believe that lots of the pictures were glow-in-the-dark.

Simple is the way to go
I ordered this for my five-year-old twins. The pictures are large to see the meaning behind each constellation, and the lighting in the dark option makes it so easy to actually see what you are trying to see in the sky. It literally takes seconds to charge the stars : just turn them under a light for a few seconds, then turn the lights off and voila!

   Terrific, and plenty of glow!
Terrific and plenty of glow! On the individual constellation pages, only that constellation glows, but views of seasonal skies at the front and back glow entirely. A tiny black light charges the stars immediately. My five-year-olds are just perfect!

   Great Book
This book is a great balance between educational and fun. Our little goes with her dad every night before bed and is a big hit. She already had an interest in the stars and loves to read this book over and over again and practice identifying constellations and identifying what the stories are behind them.

   The Sky is Wonderful
Great family fun, toddlers and older will enjoy this book and learn all about stars. I think that this book is an opportunity to bond with children. I used to lie and look at stars at night, while my father pointed the Little Dipper. Every time I see it, it brings me back.

Great book for kids & adults!
We purchased it as part of our homeschooling curriculum. We flipped through it and loved it the kids. It helped my kiddos'apos ; imagination when looking at the picture and comparing it with the placement of stars. We all loved this book and can 't wait to read more.

   Great little book
I teach a unit on space at the local library this month and my age group is Pre - K to K. They really loved this book. The pictures are dark and they loved the glow in the great stars.

   It does the trick!
While it is not quite the same as the old hardcover I raised my children with, it does proudly with the grandchildren. An excellent learning tool and a great way to spend time with young learners.

   Love it!
When I ordered this, I did not realize that it does actually glows in the dark! I was looking for an enjoyable book that would complement the telescope we bought for our 10 year old.
