Book Overview

Little Pup's wolf family is on their way to a special reunion--with lots of cousins, games, roasting marshmallows, and fun As the young wolf thinks about different kinds of families, it's the perfect opportunity for Mama and Papa to teach their inquisitive child about the families that God brings together. Some families are big and others are small, some are led by grandparents or just one parent, and some families include adopted little ones- yet each family is truly special.

Even the members of Little Pup's pack make up an important role in his family, although they sometimes pester him. Papa gently reminds his son.

We need to love the family God gave us.

A heartwarming and colorful addition to the best-selling God Gave Us series, this tale will delight young hearts and help them understand how families of all types reflect God's unconditional love.

   Lovely story
I love the series of God Gave Us and growing my collection! This is the first book we have that is not the Polar Bear family. The story is beautiful and I loved how similar the flow is to the other books. I loved how it included adoption, how some families have more children than others and even how family is not just the family related to us.

Truly a wonderful book about loving others as Jesus does, what all different families can look like and very cute illustrations.

Super stupid and there is no plot in the story
Pretty stupid '', Book. She returned it. Beautiful illustrations, but the story is meaningless. Wieland wrote like a 10 year old child. And what does it mean? his cousin... was good in helping him ignore the more unpleasant little wolves '', I don 't understand what morals would teach a child. So disappointed and confused how this authors'books get 5 starts reviews.

   Beautifully Written Children's Book!
God blesses our family in lots of different ways. Curious ''. The author explores the gift of family, describing in the simplest and sweetest terms how God places each and every individual into the safe cocoon of the family, which can sometimes look very different on the outside, but achieves the same purpose on the inside. Because we're family, we figure out how to get along.

   Sweet Story!
We bought it as a gift for two of our children. Recently we completed an adoption and wanted to understand something on their level that we could understand. This book shows little children that families are made in different ways. My children from 4 to 5 years of age enjoyed this book.
