Order the Hardcover Version instead of the Board Book Version

The board book is not a good choice. The board book has pictures cut off because it is small. This book is so great because of the illustrations. I suggest the full hardcover version if you and your child like the book. The savings are not worth the difference.

I have a one year old and a three year old who enjoy this book. This book is included in the totschool curriculum. A two week totschool program is perfect for the book that includes many animals. The book is well made and can not be torn or ripped. It's small so you can take it with you on the go.

Sweet and adorable bedtime book

I missed this book when my kids were small, but a friend just recommended it. I borrowed it from the library. It was a hit with my children. They love a book when they ask to borrow it. I had to buy my own copy because it had to go back to the library. I wonder how long it will stay at Grandma's house before it goes to theirs. I'm sure it's not long. This is one of the sweetest books I have ever read. It brings a laugh-out-loud response almost every time. Sending your kids off to bed is a great way to show them how much you care.

I used this book in my pre-k class. Everybody loves Good Night Gorilla. The book I received was not the large edition. The book was small. I needed it in less then a week because it would have been the fourth return.

The board book is very charming. A great story can be told using minimal words, humor and colorful illustrations. How could it be a favorite of the toddler set?

We lost our son's original board book copy, so we ordered this replacement. It's a cheap version of what we had. Some of the images are important, as other purchasers have noted. The moon is chopped off on several pages, the balloon in the back of the scenes on the green is gone, and some of the actions of the mouse and his banana are hidden. Don't buy a new copy, try to find a used one.

My daughter loves books. She has loved it since she was an infant. The pictures are bright colors and there isn't a lot of words so the parent can be as creative as they want to be.

Vibrant and Detailed Board Book!

This book is very good. It is colorful and detailed. It would be great for young kids. The story is told in several of the pages that do not have words. There are different animals on each page, and a banana and balloon on each page. Keys, open, night night, banana, balloon, are great words to teach. The increasing number of spectators in a window is my favorite detail. My one year old and I both love this book. This book is great for small babies with all the colors, older babies who don't sit long, and older kids who love a funny story.
