Greg Pizzoli's Geisel Honor-winning, giggle-worthy favorite teases readers with an interactive, bedtime read-aloud
Will Owl ever get a good night's sleep? He's ready for bed, but as soon as he settles in, he hears a strange noise. He looks everywhere--in his cupboard, underneath the floorboards -- even in his walls. He'll never get to sleep unless he can figure out what's going on But as he's busy tearing his house apart, he doesn't notice one tiny, squeaky, mouse-shaped detail -- the culprit Every observant young reader will point again and again to the answer to Owl's persistent question, laughing all along the way. From the creator of The Watermelon Seed comes another pitch-perfect tale that's empowering, engaging, and entertaining. I love that Amazon offers “used†books!
Derived From Web , Jul 24, 2021
I love buying used books through Amazon because they are affordable so that we can own our favourites without having to check them over and over again at our library. This book is just so much fun in particular! My 3 children LOVE this little gem of book treasure! It's LOL fun and Greg Pizzoli is a fantastic children's book author.

Not formatted for Kindle
Derived From Web , Dec 22, 2020
He had it at school and insisted that it is the only book that makes him sleepy at nap time. He was so excited when I found it on Kindle! It is also not properly formatted for use with the Kindle app. Each page is 200% enlargement, so that you can see only half of each page and you have to use the zoom function individually on each page. I tried downloading again, using a different device, etc. To no avail, same issues, unfortunate waste of $.

Cute story
Derived From Web , Nov 29, 2019
The story of Cute was cut. Also great illustrations. The Bok - jacket image was also present in the book. My 3yr old always takes the jackets off, so it is disappointing when the same image is not on the actual book.

Can be used for teaching kids about emotions
Derived From Web , Oct 13, 2019
Owl does not seem to handle his anxietyfrustration very well and is a bit destructive. My three-year-old loves it, so I use it just as a teaching moment to talk about alternative ways to handle the situation.

Kind of a dud
Derived From Web , Sep 18, 2019
This month we received it in our Prime Book Box, and we are not very impressed with it. There isn 't much to the story and my 4 year old was bored with it. We have the Watermelon seed and he enjoyed it.

Disappointed Pizzoli Fans
Derived From Web , Jan 21, 2019
Our toddler has loved Good Night Owl since he was small, but Pizzoli is a dud for us. The story isn 't particularly funny and compelling, and it is much longer than we expected, we can 't keep our 20-month-old engaged for the whole story. Nevertheless, the illustrations are cute.

My two year old begs at bedtime every night for this! My son loves making the squirting for the mouse and chimes in for the repetitive text.
