Fantastic illustrations - poorly written text
Derived From Web , May 28, 2022
The book is about a girl who takes a walk at the end of summer-early fall. She says, hello to the animals, thunder, wind, leaves, etc. They are agressive and they respond. The pictures are beautiful and that is why I bought the book, but the lyrics are written poorly. For instance, take this line, Hello, breezy wind. I love the misty drizzle and leaves through the whoosh streets. What does that even mean? Whoosh drizzle and leaves? We gave up reading the book and now we can just make up our own story. It is too bad because the illustrations are truly fantastic.

Nightly Bedtime story favorite
Derived From Web , Dec 3, 2021
Though it is not the most interesting read for the adult, it is very repetitive. The art & work throughout the book is so beautiful, it makes it hard to dislike the book. This was my nightly favorite until the seasons changed.

Illustrations are cute, story is a let down
Derived From Web , Sep 27, 2021
The story is just odd and makes sense barely. Transitioning into the fall is not a hard topic, but this story falls extremely flat. The illustrations are decent. Maybe good for toddlers who don 't understand the concept fully and just like the pictures, but wouldn 't recommend.

amazing illustrations AND simple words
Derived From Web , Oct 20, 2020
As a former teacher, I look for books with simple yet captivating words. I love repetition and the way it prepares us for change. There is not really much of a story line, but it is enjoyable for any age.

Really enjoyed.
Derived From Web , Dec 30, 2019
My girls loved discovering how the pages went together. They quickly figured out that a side is the girl talking to the season and the season responds on the opposite page. It is a nice book for the transitions, especially for the beautiful seasons. I love the style of illustrations personally ''. A very pretty book.

A lovely book for preschoolers about fall
Derived From Web , Oct 11, 2018
I have worked with children and this book was a perfect introduction for them to fall. The diversity in the people involved, the pretty illustrations, and the sing-songy lyrics made this an engaging read even for the hard-to-sit-still listeners.
