I buy this for all new parents!

The whole thing is a parody of the "Goodnight" books. I also love that it's a young Black female scientist in the lab saying goodnight, a group who is vastly underrepresented in science. 0 31712010 3171174 This is a great example of how a group of young Black female scientists are putting themselves forward and making a difference, Rosalyn said. We're partial to the smiley faces, too -- even if the referenced items we say goodnight to are all adorable. Buy this for all new parents!

Such a cute face! It was a retirement gift from a colleague at work. I got me a copy when the "bowl of mush" made me want to poke out my eye so not my daughter and I read it at night. A lot of cool stuff, too! Good Night Brew!

I bought this book on a lark, and it's great to read again. If you're a Goodnight Moon fan who is also into science, this may be for you. To be fair, some of the jokes will be lost on younger children, but they will grow into it and will develop a scientific vocabulary that will amaze people.

It just *works*
Derived From Web , May 4, 2018
Arrived and read to the whole family that evening.. We have read goodnight Moon so many times that the pacing and cadence can be translated across. My son obviously was going from the sounds and intonation but my daughter loved the mixing up and the science aspects, so it resonated with her already sharp mind.

Great story! but needs to be a sturdier build.
Derived From Web , Oct 3, 2017
5 stars on the content, 3 stars on the paper quality of the pages. It has a great story, great pictures, and witty writing, too. But I would like to see the book quality improved a little bit for toddlers. But the content of the book is absolutely worth five stars, Hachette said.

I still can't get over the original Goodnight Moon. This one cracks me up and appeals to the nerdy members of our family, especially the part about goodnight to the cranky professor shouting 'publish!,' she said.

Good idea but disappointing
Derived From Web , Sep 8, 2017
The Harrisons' new concept was a welcome one, they said. However, the rest of the network's content was weak. I enjoyed the reference to the. professor who needed to publish, which was witty and very true. Naming of scientific instruments was also great, but for the average reader it would be helpful to have a glossary of terms. A female scientist!
