Great practice

My son will be entering the fourth grade, so we agreed that this workbook would be something he would work on during the summer. He works on this workbook every day, completing me four pages at a time. I never hear a complaint, the stories are interesting. I am also interested in them as I make sure his work is correct. The questions related to readings require the student to actually read the story and not write a sentence just because it is written down. The exercises vary a bit as well as to keep their interest. I have not had my son take any Kumon tutoring, but understand that the workbook is similar to tutoring, but without the cost. I am confident that my son will have a great start to the next year in part because of this workbook.

Love these for my kids

We use this for our 6 year old and 10 year olds and not only does this really helps them learn, but they also enjoy doing it. Before these books, my children struggled and now are keeping up with their classmates.

These workbooks are perfect for teachers and for tutors. As a teacher myself, I have worked with Kumon and I love the concepts of the program. They're highly effective with many different needs, skill levels and learning styles. When I become a teacher, I will definitely incorporate these into my curriculum!

I THINK THIS WAS VERY GOOD FOR MY SON LEARNING LEVEL. IT CHALLENGED HIM TO THINK, BUT NOT TOO HARD WHERE HE WOULD GIVE EASY.

This year I chose Kumon, I purchased the whole collection of Grade 4 for my son who moved into 4th grade and the whole collection of Grade 3 for my son who went into 2nd grade. I later found out that my younger son had problems in some areas of grade 3, so I bought grade 2. This has been a great source of inspiration for my children and I. The books helped my children learn step by step and I really do see improvements. Its great for me to simply find the answer sheet to correct and it helps me to find out what their weaknesses are. I do really like Kumon's workbooks in comparison to previous companies, because I see improvements. The next year I will purchase Kumon again.
