Not a very engaging story

It starts with the little girl saying that her grandma's purse has inside all kinds of magical things. But Grandma's briefcase has in it only a phone, hair pins and photos. I thought it would have more interesting items ''. As another reviewer said, the words don 't flow very smoothly either. Will you show me what is in there? Yes, she will! I can not see my daughter asking to read a book about hair pins and an old cell phone. I would donate it, but I've read that most returns to Amazon end up in the landfill, so I'll probably return the book to the library.

This is such a sweet Grandma and granddaughter story with the incredibly-relatable premise of traveling through Grandma's purse where treasures abound! We also had a Little Glam and One Love, and I recommend those as well!

It is a cute book, but it didn 't flow as well as other children's books to make it an easy read. I really enjoy children's books that rhyme or make it clear what character is talking for the kiddo, but this book did not do either of these things and changed from the grandma to the child thinking without any written clues for the reader or child to follow.

This book was kind of helpful if click cute. We call my moms purse the Mary Poppins Purse '' and so my daughters wanted to get this book for her and it was perfect, she loves it. The books can be expensive and this was a good price. The only complaint was that the book we received was written it. Thoughts were not a big deal.

I purchased it for my 3 yo granddaughter. She loves going through my camera when I visit her for a visit. She used to take EVERYTHING out when she was little, but now that she is a big girl, she carries her purse book with her around the apartment. )

The story itself is magical thinking about all the times when I was young and the times I spent with my grandmother. Always looking in her purse for hidden treasure, which meant my favorite candies that she knew I loved. The beautiful illustrations as well sweep you into the story and you get lost until the end. I put this book on a scale of 1 to 10 a 20.

This book is so cute and is beautifully illustrated. There are a lot of items in Grandma's purse that I will match to the pictures to teach nouns, functions and categorization to my kiddos with speech and language impairments. Did I mention that the illustrations are beautiful?
