We love this journal for grandparents to fill in for our children. Don 't let the older stories die with the special generation. This is an excellent way to record everything and makes it easy to fill up in the blank prompts.

A legacy of love

I bought these as gifts for my mom and my dad because they always want to share their life experiences, but have a hard time expressing them through conversation. Their grandkids are all consumed with technology's half attention. Once completed, it will truly be a gift to pass from generation to generation. This allows them to write not only their personal experiences in their own words, but also their knowledge and wisdom. They are of good quality, beautifully decorated & easy to keep, as they don 't take up much space. Right now they are a book on my parents'shelves, but one day they will become a way for the grandchildren to understand just how their grandparents were and how much they loved them.

It has excellent prompts for you to write your story for your grandchildren to read later. The questions helped me reunite some fantastic memories, so I had a lot of fun with that. There were some prompts that made me think literally '' such as what EVENT was character defining! If you think outside the “ norm †it helps you to think really deep things that may have shaped your life! It seems a bit pricey, but is worth every penny! In the back there are lots of random pages for your blank thoughts that you want to add. It was a wonderful gift I received!

Classic and Beautifully Done

There are other grandmother journals out there, but they are nowhere near as well done as this one. The prompts in this one encourage people to write their own story and not just answer random questions. I found out, that there is also a Grandfather magazine! We tend to forget that men have a story to share as well and as they age more men are willing to tell that story! It would not be great to hear the same, male and female perspective about life!

I emailed the author in advance of this book's release because so many books like this focus on marriage and love in-depth. Not everyone has great things to share in this category. The writer Korie shared that these questions would not be her family's forte and so there are only three characters in the book. My grandmother is excited to tell her stories in this beautiful book and I am so thankful that one such as this exists.

Heirloom Quality - Gorgeous Cover & Illustrations

I ordered this for our grandparents and was so happy when I received the package. The product is great and the price is surprising considering the amazing quality. I would be willing to pay double the price for a great memory book this double! The covers of each book are a vintage fabric like material reminiscent of embossed books. The embossing is clear with an exquisite script and a beautiful floral design. I love the binding because it can easily be opened flat to make the writing easier. Some memory books have classic floral designs, however the page designs in this book have cartoonish kitschy designs. The artwork will not fall out of style and will hold beauty for generations to come. I love the free paper that will help maintain the dignity and preservation of the pictures. I purchased both the Grandma and the Grandpa editions of the books and placed an order for the recipe book after looking through them. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
