Great for inquisitive little minds!

My 7 year old niece went through a phase where she was obsessed with gravity. I think it was because of the film Gravity. We couldn 't answer a lot of questions she asked, so purchased this book for Christmas in hopes that it would help.

Story meets facts

I bought this as a supplement to our study of the outer space. My son loves it as a bedtime story and my daughter occasionally pulls it off the shelf on her own to look through it. It is a well-written story so that it engaged my 5-year-old and my 3-year-old alike.

nice explanation of gravity for kids
Derived From Web , May 31, 2022
My daughter loves this book as she is really into gravity. It has a different explanation of gravity and its relationship to weight on the Earth and on beautiful planets and the Moon. This would serve as a good introduction to the acceleration, though it does not discuss gravity in these terms. I also like how it shows how gravity pulls to the center of an object, in contrast to the apparent pull of it towards the ground or surface.

Great book

My son is 4 and it is his new favorite book. I thought it would be a little boring for him to read this book, as it was meant to be for older children. But he read everything and asked to understand it over and over again.

Nothing to learn new
Derived From Web , May 31, 2022
My kid started as '' Gravity a Mystery and ended as '' Gravity as a Mystery with nothing in between. Might be a book for 4 years old, but mine is 6 years old and a little bit advanced in science. It did not help my kid.

This book is helpful in talking about gravity. I loved reading it in the classroom and the students wanted to go back and read it themselves.
