Book Overview

In this hilarious original board book for the littlest grumpy monkey, Jim learns that sometimes it's hard to get over a bad case of grumpiness, but having a good friend can help.

What can make a grumpy monkey less grumpy? A ball? A banana? A rainbow? How about a frog in a fluffy wig? Nothing seems to work, but fortunately for young readers Jim's frown is finally turned upside down with the help of his good friend Norman.

With just a few words and truly expressive artwork Suzanne and Max Lang give toddlers the perfect funny book to help them deal with a grumpy mood.

   Our Grandchildren’s favorite books!
Our family loves reading Grumpy Monkey books! Our grandchildren are big fans and want more GM books. We have custom made and owned all of them!
   Love this series!
The stories are great and the illustrations are brilliant! Got for kids, but bought for myself as well as for when I have a bad day!
Money grab. Get the other books in the series.
In the series, love other book in the series. This is a clear money grab. Wouldn 't recommend it. Get the first three just right.
   Unnecessary book
I can say, out of all the grumpy monkeys, that I honestly don 't see a point in this book. No story line does not line up. My 3 year old son loves Jim Panzee, but this is not a choice of his.
   Pictures tell the story
This is the book that our 2 year old grandson reaches for every time he comes over! He loves the story, but especially the pictures.
   Lazy Monkey
In this book series, Disappointing Entry is missing. The original Grumpy Monkey is my daughter's favorite read at bedtime and we were excited that this one appeared to be geared towards the younger side of the target audience. The Little Book of Grumpiness simply ramps up too quickly to take advantage of its call and response structure. Even worse, most of the artwork is recycled from the other books. Here's hoping that this is just a minor misstep in an otherwise classic collection of stories.

Not the same as the other books by Grumpy Monkey. Seems like a good money grab with artwork from the faster books. Short story by Paul McCall, long and pointless. This is not a new thing to buy.
