I went through a long season of waiting and feeling like God was being silent, and I really appreciated this study. It is well thought out, well researched, and well-written. And it is very relevant today to us.

Interesting but needs editing
Derived From Web , Aug 26, 2021
It brings a book of the Bible that is not well known to life. It is very beneficial and would be very timely for those who are going through trials. However, I feel that the author and the publishing company should produce a further issue of the book with some significant editing. Finally, on the last podcast, she acknowledged that the blanks did not correspond to the lecture page. But throughout there were questions that were confusing and scripture references that did not seem to correspond correctly. I went through this with a group and it seems that they did not do this step before releasing. I would recommend this, but not until a second edition is made.

In depth study
Derived From Web , Jul 1, 2021
The author did a really good job by diving into Habakkuk's book. Our Bible study group completed the six week course of the study just. While we loved learning, we really felt that it would have been much better to spread it over twelve weeks. There is so much to discuss and six weeks of sleep barely scratches the surface. I've felt that we were not giving the Scriptures the time they deserved. If I ever repeat this study, I will stretch it so that it will honor the Scripture and discussion time.

Great study to do with your teen daughter!
Derived From Web , Sep 2, 2020
My 14 year old daughter and I have been working through this study. First, it has been great to see in her life areas of fear that she hadn't realized were an issue. More importantly, she and I have been able to share these areas with each other and work through what God says about hope and faith during times of fear, anxiety and turmoil. I wouldn't even say that our lives are altered that much compared to others during this time - we haven't faced job loss, school changes, or any of these major things right, but this study has been invaluable in identifying the small ways that fear can sneak in even when things are ok ''. I bought more copies of this study to give them to a few other teens, and I hope to soon lead a group of teen girls through this study. This is worth the time to make it a priority to go through it!
