I love that Furudate isn 't afraid to explore the feelings of those who fail too, it makes everything more human, which is why everyone starts reading Haikyuu for fun and finds themselves ugly over a serve.

Epic Conclusion

Haikyuu! v8 provides the epic conclusion of the Miyagi inter high qualifier. The volume covers the final volley between Karasuno and Aoba Johsai with some pretty epic panels and moments. Character growth and development continued to be the highlight of the manga and here we saw it for characters on both sides true. Kageyama delivered fantastic growth from his tyrannical king past to know a king that listens to his followers, while on the Aoba Johsai side we actually had some growth moments for Kunimi. I hope that in the future we see more of Aoba Johsai. Extras included two bonus stories, commentary in between chapters and sketches.
