Whether you need to get dinner on the table for your family tonight or are planning your next get-together with friends, Half Baked Harvest Cookbook has your new favorite recipe.
Tieghan Gerard grew up in the Colorado mountains as one of seven children. When her dad took too long to make dinner every night, she started doing the cooking--at age 15. Ever-determined to reign in the chaos of her big family, Tieghan found her place in the kitchen. She had a knack for creating unique dishes, which led her to launch her blog, Half Baked Harvest. Since then, millions of people have fallen in love with her fresh take on comfort food, stunning photography, and charming life in the mountains. While it might be a trek to get to Tieghan's barn-turned-test kitchen, her creativity shines here: dress up that cheese board with a real honey comb; decorate a standard salad with spicy, crispy sweet potato fries; serve stir fry over forbidden black rice; give French Onion Soup an Irish kick with Guinness and soda bread; bake a secret ingredient into your apple pie (hint: it's molasses). And a striking photograph accompanies every recipe, making Half Baked Harvest Cookbook a feast your eyes, too.It takes about 5 Hours and 21 minutes on average for a reader to read Half Baked Harvest Cookbook: Recipes From My Barn In The Mountains. Creative recipes that normal people can make

It is fun to read, lots of variety, and easy to follow instructions. I bought three during a sale, kept one for myself and gave the other two as gifts after trying out several of the recipes. The author likes butter and cheese, chili powder, and red pepper. I have toned those things down to be more kid friendly for my baby.

Beautiful photos, absolutely bland flavor
Derived From Web , May 5, 2020
The photos are stunning and I gave this one star soley. The recipes are bad. The book I bought was based on the reviews. I was expecting delicious recipes. Absolutely wrong. When I tried a few of the recipes, they sounded great. Absolutely not. Everything was dull. I mean very bad. I don't recommend this boom or her cookbook. I don't know how she's so popular when her recipes don't have any flavor. I know how to follow a recipe because I am a pastry chef. Please save money and time. Don't buy.

Amateurish recipes
Derived From Web , Jul 20, 2019
The recipes in here look good, but they are not worth the time to eat. The author has no formal training. There are a lot of weird little things that could have been done differently.

Waste of cookbook space, but maybe nice photos to peruse
Derived From Web , Jul 13, 2019
I agree that if you want a decent cookbook for the taste of the food and flavor, this isn't it. I returned the book because of the many pretty pictures that were made because of the addition of greens. I believe that there was too much else going on and I was frustrated at the lack of flavour in the Earl Grey muffins I tried. If you want to call it an Earl Grey muffin, make it so it can stand on its own. Call it something else if you must.

Tasty recipes & beautiful photos!
Derived From Web , Apr 25, 2019
There are lots of pictures and tasty recipes. I am very excited about this cookbook. We've tried 10 of the recipes so far and only had one that we were not fond of. I like the stories that go along with her recipes and suggestions. Would definitely recommend!

Every recipe is delicious!
Derived From Web , Dec 4, 2018
This is the first cookbook I've bought in a long time. It is literally. I am usually not a recipe user, but after seeing a few of her recipes on her website, I knew I had to have her cookbook. There is nothing I have made that is less delicious than hers. It's a pretty book with a lot of pictures.

Beautiful and yummy.

I made the black beans as a side after getting it. They were delicious. The chef has a recipe that is sure. If I make one recipe out of a cookbook that is a home run, I will get paid for it. Have a lot of recipes to try next.
