Its the movie, plus extra!
Derived From Web , Nov 28, 2021
Was pretty fun to read, I loved how it was in Michael's perspective, but its a love-hate thing in the way it was done and how I feel about it affecting his character. It makes it appear like his whole strength and power comes from his mask. One thing I loved was how it added more mental space to the other patient who escaped the bus. I now love that person, he's like one of my favorite characters because of how innocent they make him. The book also has a scene from the beginning that was cut from the movie in theaters, which is cool. Total 910 :

Enjoyed this!

This was a perfect match for a long-time Halloween fan and reader! This novelization bridged gaps that I had big questions about watching the movie. The pacing was great and the narrator did a great job in portraying the characters. The listener enjoyed very much.

A Joy-ride through Michael’s massacre
Derived From Web , Oct 28, 2021
The novelization really helps to fix some of the choppy dialogue from the film, which was due to editing and received negativity due to over expectation from fans. Providing insight into Michael's head while expanding upon scenes that needed more of a fleshing out, I read this so quickly. Having read the screenplay drafts before this, I can tell you that it is based on an early draft and not the final draft.

A fantastic narration of a fantastic book
Derived From Web , Oct 26, 2021
I am a long Halloween fan and a book lover. Author Michael Myers GETS Halloween and Tim Waggoner. The atmosphere, descriptions and most importantly, Michael Myers'point of view are all written in such a way that the Halloween franchise fits so well. I believe that the book was written based on a completed and not a revised script, as there are some differences in the film. The same are large, some are small and some are very interesting Easter eggs that make for a fantastic read. His voice communicates emotion and excitement and is almost lifeless when reading Michael's point of view, and is awesome! The tone of Pinchot is enticing and I never felt distracted by what I was hearing. This is an audiobook that takes the listening experience to more than once. I would recommend both the novelization and its audiobook to all Halloween fans and book lovers alike.
