   Old Favorite Back in Print
I have been a fan of these books for a long time. The old originals are collector's items now. Different pictures, but close.

   Traditional quality
When my children were small, they used to have some ants and bees books. The illustrations are great for learning. I got out the old ones when the grandchildren arrived and was happy to see that they were being reprinted. If you want good, traditional starter books with proper old fashioned text, look at these. The illustrations appeal to both the child and parent. Highly recommendable.

It was a first birthday present. It was far too advanced. It is a sweet story with detailed illustrations, and I can see how it encourages children to read and join in, and teaches them all sorts of things like how parties are organised, and the days of the week. The pages are really thin and shiny, and won't last long if your child is rough.

Round the World with Ant and Bee is the only book that has 5 stars. If I could, I would give that 6 stars. Our little granddaughter was inspired by our interest in geography and is getting a globe and an atlas for Christmas.
