My daughter still enjoyed the book
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I put this in my daughter's Easter basket. I bought it because I thought it was similar to the other story line, of giving a mouse a cookie and then seeing the chain of events afterwards. This is not something like that. It's the same mouse, but that's all. I don't know if it says that on the description, but I didn't see it. My daughter still liked the book. If you're expecting that storyline, this is not the same as it was just a short read. It was great for her basket and we have already read it 10 times.

I liked the hidden educational value in this book. As events come up, I've been buying books for her. We love this series as much as the last book.

Busy toddler likes book

Our grandson was 18 months old when he found this entertaining, but mostly liked the pictures. He was enjoying his story time while he was on the move. This passed the toddler seal of approval.

My girls like to read. We have all the books for the holidays. The guessing game, counting practice and color identification included in the story made this one my favorite.

Read it twice!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My toddler loves books and this is his newest favorite. I have to read it again and again. The board book has nice pictures and is well made. It's not very busy but very detailed. There is a nice surprise at the end when we find out who has been hiding these eggs in the house. That's right.

Not as good as If You Give A Mouse A Cookie... but still worth it!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
The book is more of a picture book than it is a story. Babies like to look at stuff. I got this for my nephew. I don't know if he's talking yet, but I think it's worth the money to get your kid relative!

Short and simple, better for younger kids
Derived From Web , May 2, 2018
The book was a gift from our toddler. She liked the simplicity of the story, but it wasn't as good as the If You Give a_ a_ book. The mouse is looking for eggs in the house. There is a clue as to who left the eggs on the page. It might be better for a younger age. The 4 star review is from me, but our almost 3 year old likes it.

Little Disappointed
Derived From Web , Apr 16, 2018
I wasn't expecting it to have the depth of the other mouse books, but I was disappointed that it didn't have more substance to it. The story was ok but I was a little disappointed that the art work was so good.
