I just love Jim Kay's work

I was looking forward to the fifth book of Harry Potter illustrated. I bought it. I really like this book. There is a quote every day. The pictures on the page are wonderful.

Underwhelming
Derived From Web , Nov 16, 2021
It seemed like it would have more art to it. I am a bit disappointed. They made it seem like it would be a colorful book when they saw the pictures in the description. That was not the case. There are very few colorful pieces. Most of the art is generic scenery. There are very few magical vibes coming from this book.

Few new illustrations
Derived From Web , Oct 25, 2021
I am a huge fan of the Potter books. I was disappointed that the book did not have more new illustrations. This book arrived in a box with no protection, and I have seen most before. This item should have some protection.

Pretty good
Derived From Web , Oct 23, 2021
The illustrations are great, but there are only quotes from the books. It was fun and not what I had been hoping for, but I am glad to add it to my collection.

What exactly is the point of this?
Derived From Web , Oct 20, 2021
The large format has inside a mix of illustration and odd pieces from several books. I wonder what this is intended for. I would have liked it if it was a weekly guide with a week starting with a week on Two days and ending with another week. The size format is adorable and I do likeJim Kay's illustrations, but my two stars would be too low for this, though I would definitely recommend it. The speaker said "coming back."

A Book With No Practical Purpose
Derived From Web , Oct 20, 2021
This is a nice looking book. I had ordered it months ago as a gift and thought it would be a dayplanner. It is a collection of small snippets from the books. I like Jim Kay's illustrations, but I don't see any purpose in buying this book. It is not a planners like I thought and it is not the books themselves, so I don't understand why anyone would want it. I would recommend buying the illustrated Harry Potter series, but not this one.

Nice art, wrong dates
Derived From Web , Oct 19, 2021
I don't understand how they pick the dates. The chapter on Halloween has a quote. Why include the dates if they aren't going to be right? I would have preferred the art.
