   Comprehensive Pocket Guide for Managers
If you are inexperienced in finance, this is a great crash course and reference guide, especially the glossary. It is best to refer as well to the quizzes and retake them.

   Short and good!
Take a few days or less to finish, though I am not a native speaker. It is helpful to understand how to learn the financial status of a company. And nice tips on not replying fully on numbers, which might not tell you the whole story.

   Everyone Should Read This
If you did not go to business school, but now find yourself running a business in the field you studied, this material is essential. It covers basic business bookkeeping, how to read the three most common accounting reports, how financing works, and then explains why information is important to line managers. I read it only 15 years ago, not reading it.

   Useful introduction to Finance
Covers the basics of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement and how they are useful in business management. Also provides an overview of profit versus Cash, Operational Management and the dynamics of CFO and metric management.

   Required Reading
Although this book was required reading, I really enjoyed it. The book not only explained the basic terms and tools of business, but as a reader I was able to read it and not get the textbook type of voice, but something that told more of a story interwoven with real life cases.
