   I read it again and again for comfort.
I lost my dog and ordered this. I pick it up after 8 months to find help, even though I know it's probably for human loss. When you have a dog that is your constant companion for 16 years, you grieve over them as well.

   A MUST READ TO THOSE OF US LEFT BEHIND
A neighbor gave me the book after I lost my husband. I don't know how many of the daily readings spoke directly to me. These readings are written by people who have lost a loved one and they are very sad. I am still experiencing the same agony as these people. This was the best reading I've done this year. It doesn't bring my husband back, but I know I'm not alone. I have purchased books for other people. The pages seem to speak directly to each one of us.

I look forward to reading this. I lost my mom on August 6, 2016 at the age of 57. Being no ones child has been a rude awakening to me, since my Dad passed away 14 months ago.

I don't like the religious part of the book, but I still find help in the comforting words.

   Great daily insirationals
I have given this to many people who have lost a loved one. They have appreciated it so much that they purchased it for their family members who have suffered the same loss as them. It doesn't get behind the psychology of grief, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't for you. When people are grieving, they have a hard time concentrating. It's hard to read a book. One page a day is an inspiring thought and verse. It's highly recommended to purchase for someone who is going through a loss.

A friend gave me a book after my husband died. As it addresses what I am going through, it has been spot on. A short daily meditation has made a huge difference for me.

The daily meditations in this book are helpful in my grief over my husband's death. There is a line that really touched my soul, keep the door open. There are more than one. These meditations are used to read, pray and write in my journal.
