   terrific chapter book
It is a great chapter book for beginners. My daughter has read the Junie B series, Stink, Judy Moody, Treehouse, etc. and ranks for her in the top three. A good reader can cruise in a day through these books, but it is an entertaining and enjoyable cruise. Also great drawings.

   Almost good
My six-year-old and I usually fly on the weekends through a book a day. My six-year-old was engaged in the story. I was a little disappointed in particular with this one. The author mentions that a police officer and fire fighter are boy's costumes. I expect more from any children's book written that day and age.
