I give the book a 5star review cos Helen Keller gave me hope fore people who are blind and deaf and told me that even if we're handy cap, we can do anything that doesn 't give up for your dreams. AUTUMN 8-year-old is an old but beautiful.

   Excellent Elementary History Book
I am currently buying books to augment my first grade son's history and I LOVE this. It is factual without being overly graphic and depicts her whole life, thus giving the scope of all that Helen Keller overcame. I look forward to introducing him to Braille and to sign the language as mention in the biography. Amazing depiction of an excellent woman and the people who have helped her.

great pictures, and the kids could read the book ...
Bought as a Xmas present to add to 24 other books, as a countdown to Xmas Advent read-a-thon! They read a book a night until Xmas! The book is well written, great pictures, and the children could read the book themselves! The price made it easy to add to the other 24 books!

   Love it
I love history books ''. If I gave this book a rating of 5 stars, I would give it a rating of 5. I love the way they present themselves in great pictures. Most mine history books don't have go pictures. I also admire the way in which they put Helen's challenges in the book.
