Cute, informative and pre-k friendly
Derived From Web , Jun 30, 2021
I've read all the books, but this is by far the best. Engaging and well written, this book will be well-suited to engage pre-schoolers and teach them about how apples grow without being overwhelming. He also said that when he was older, he would have loved looking at the pictures. Great graphics, said Dr. Paul Vassallo, director of the Royal Holloway centre in London. Compared with other books on this topic, this was the most pre-k friendly one to help young kidstoddlers learn about apples growing.

Fun concept, poor execution

It's pretty much a random feeling to it and for young readers it leaves them more confused.

My kids absolutely love the series. My family was blown away when my 4 year old told them all about the parts of a flower and could explain the basic principles of how a plant grew.

Love Jill McDonald!!!
Derived From Web , Mar 14, 2019
I bought my son his first book, "The Solar System by Jill McDonald, when he was just a few months old." He is now turning 3 and I will continue to buy her World Hello books for him and his baby sister. One of his favorite places to go is our local apple orchard, so this book was especially relevant to him. In this book, we learn how apples grow from seeds, how they get from farm to store, and how they are made. As toddlers get older they get more interested in the bonus facts that the book has to offer. They're really fun introduction to STEM subjects for little learners, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

Amazing!

I love all of the Hello, World! magazines. Jill McDonald, the writer of the books, has done a great job of translating them. They're bright, attractive, informative and explain things to children in a simple manner, without dumbing down.
