Every time we read it, he gets very excited. I recommend this collection for the whole.

   Very cute book but unable to use to do stong smell
I received this and another booking of the same author for my 2 year old twins in the same order. We have about 6 other books by the author and my children love them! I have had them in my garage for weeks to try to air the smell and it has lingered. At this time, I am unable to allow my children to even touch the books, as I worry about what causes the smell. I hate to give the books a bad review, as it is not the authors'fault, but the books are unusable at that time. ( cf.

   A little disappointing
We have all Jill McDonald's board books, and we love them and the baby loves them... but this one is a little disappointing. The last page of the story is that if you don 't have a pet, you should go to a local shelter to adopt one. While I don 't agree with this advice, it is not a great thing to read every single time this book. I just changed it to something like different families have different types of pets - and it is fun to visit them! I wish the final page was not a call to action, but a vague statement about pets.
