Great addition to the kids library
Derived From Web , Nov 21, 2021
Although the content is still above my son's current comprehension level, I think this book would be a great addition to any collection meant for young people. I bought it in the hopes that he shows interest in science. Also for the beautiful watercolor-like drawings, which I know my artist wife appreciates. We also have the My Body Board book and would recommend any from the Hello World '' series. Also works well with the planets song!

My kids (2&4) love it!
Derived From Web , Oct 21, 2020
This book is absolutely love! It is interesting for a two year old, but still simple enough for a 4 year old. It does not bother me that Pluto is mentioned because it does say that it is a dwarf planet, so I add a little sentence to explain why and that! Look at the pictures that someone posted, it is a great book, my children love it and read it by themselves. It also did spark interest in space, so that's a plus! I will definitely look for other books of the series.

Hated it.
Derived From Web , Jul 9, 2020
My baby is very interested in the moon and stars now, so I thought I 'd expand his idea of the solar system. I hate this book ''. There is no lyricism involved and reading this book out loud is awkward and clunky. The facts for the planets are just so-so-the-one for Earth is abysmal! Of all the interesting things you could say about our planet, you choose that it looks like a marble and is the 3rd planet from the Sun. And while I love art for the planets themselves, I hate the absolute inaccuracies of the stars and the moon. I love silly license in children's books--this borders on artistic. I actually hate children books... but this one really irks me.

Excellent Solar System Book for Toddlers: Colorful, Atrention Keeping & Educational!
Derived From Web , Jul 27, 2018
I bought this book for my 20 month old daughter to introduce her to simple concepts about science. As soon as I opened the book, she absolutely loved it. It is colorful, has great illustrations as well as short and interesting facts about each planet. Not a deal breaker for me, but it does list Pluto in the book. However, in August 2006, it was degraded by the International Astronomical Union as a dwarf planet. If you are concerned about any confusion about Pluto, it may not be the book for you. Personally, I loved it, and plan to buy a few more books by the author!

Beautiful artwork!
Derived From Web , Jan 11, 2018
I have to admit that this book taught me a few things. My spouse thinks that the book is a little dry, but I disagree. But regardless of the lyrics, I would purchase this book alone for the artwork. Almost as soon as I opened it, I went out and put the rest of the series on my wishlist! This book is absolutely beautiful . And the most important! They included Pluto, everyone's favorite not-planet.
