Cute story and illustrations but don't plan on making egg salad!
I ordered this book for my 5 year old grandson, who is really into dinosaurs. He shows every detail in the illustrations, they observe broken raw eggs. At the end, the hatched live eggs donated birds. When we were dying Easter eggs, he kept asking me when they would hatch and what kind of birds they would be. You can imagine how he reacted later when his mother used them for egg salad! He thought she had killed the little birds! Cute story, but a little confusing for a little kid who truly believes. I explained his concerns, but he STILL would not eat the egg salad!

   Great book!
Love the illustrations and my son loves that it has dinosaurs. Loved that it was different from the typical Eastern books.

   An Unusual Stand-In
When T. Rex is in for an ailing Easter Bunny a hilarious pandemonium ensues! My 12-year-old and 2-year-old keep asking me to read it to them, AGAIN! A delightfully illustrated Easter story.

   Cute book, very simplistic story.
The story itself was better. I would not say buy it, but I think you could find a better book if the story line is important to you.

   Adorable!
My son loves dinosaurs, so I bought this for him for Easter. We try to use legitimate names when we can, so that the real dinosaur names did not bother us, in fact, I loved it! It is a very fun and educational Easter book for any young child who enjoys dinosaurs.
