   Yikes- avoid this guide!
Seems like this book did not even get Proofread - Ouch! This study guide contains numerous mistakes. Moreover, the presented information is irrelevant. For example, I spent hours studying the actual vocabulary section only to find that all the words were irrelevant to the vocabulary on the HESI exam, which is much more general than medical-related. I bought HESI - Study Guides from Mometrix, McGraw Hill and Elsevier - Mometrix was by far the worst. Highly recommended the Elsevier and McGraw Hill guides to help in the preparation of smart, efficient and relevant for the HESI exam! Both helped me achieve within the 99th percentile.

   Best study book I have gotten!
I LOVE this book. I ve this book. I took the test alone and was very unprepared for the first time I relied on the Elsevier HESI exam review. I was very much unprepared for the test. I retake the exam tomorrow and already feel incredibly confident. The book is detailed not too detailed that you are wasting time studying unimportant information, but detailed enough that you know you're learning the necessary information. I can 't express how great the anatomy section is! It is very easy to understand and is a great resource. I would highly recommend taking first practice testsquizlets in addition to the book, as I think the book alone isn 't enough to prepare a online test taker. I think it is a great resource to read and annotate as you begin studying. I also appreciated the sections in the beginning and end on tips for taking the test and testing anxiety. I can not recommend enough, which says something like I spent $200+ in study materials and this was my most used.

   Should not be your only study source
Today I passed my test, and my first purchase was this book over a month ago. It helps a lot with math, biology, chemistry and grammar, but is useless for vocab. Anat and Phys was 5050, I took several practice tests online and quizlets for Vocab and lots of words on the test were just not on any of them. Seriously, study anything you can when it comes to vocab, I ran into words I had never even seen before 50 different practice quizzes that I memorized. I also purchased the mometrix University - Course because when you buy the book, you get it half off, and that was a little more helpful as they have so many practice questions. And 7 - practice tests. These were SO HELPFUL.I recommend doing this. Had it not come with the 50% off the course, it would not be worth it to me. To continue with this, you will definitely need to go to other sources of study.

   Very useful, only a couple things I would change
I really like the book and find it helpful in studying, and a practice test was a great bonus! The only reason I give it a rating of 4 instead of 5 is because I feel like the content was somewhat thin and could have been explained a little better, but otherwise it was a wonderful purchase!

   Awesome Study Preparation!!!!!
It is very comprehensive and easy to follow. I am looking to apply to a nursing program, and this exam is mandatory to enter a nursing program. What is really helpful for me is to break everything down so that you understand how to get the correct answer. Many books give you an answer and you have no clue how to get there. Grammar isn 't my sweet spot, and I love practicing the sentences. I really need this ''. Thank you for a great product!

I am preparing for the HESI A2 exam in December. From the reviews I read before purchasing this textbook, it seems to have really good commentsreviews that people experience when using this study guide. This made me purchase this book eventually and I hope to experience the same results. After skimming through the pages, I truly appreciate how each subject is broken and the examples given to me are well thought out and easy to understand. I like that there is a practice test to be able to simulate the real test for the simulation.

   Great overview for major topics
I used this book and YouTube channels to review for the HESI A2 and received a 96.8% cumulative score. This book was very helpful in preparing for the test, except that you will need to review your AandP textbookwatch YouTube channels for the science section.

After a short review, this book seems to give a good review of the classes that are required for nursing and other medical professions. I gave a rating of 4 because having to request the DVD separately from the purchase was a bit frustrating. When I bought the book, there was no mention of this.
