   Fun for 4yo
Four year old reads it enthusiastically and constantly. I wish there was a board book or something more sturdy than paper, because he high-fives the book with such vigor that it occasionally tears the pages.

   My favorite so far!
I love all books by this author, because they are so funny and cute ''. But this story is just funny! I've been reading it to my son and when he began to feel squirmy and lose attention, my husband made me finish the book for him! I can 't wait for my son to grow up and really appreciate these books ; I know that they will be his favorites!

   Current favorite book
This book is funny and engaging. The idea and the interactiveness of the story makes it a winner. The colors are simple repetitive with a vibrant story that is easy to follow for children. I wish there was more gender ambiguity or female language used, but for me this is across the board in books.

   A rare miss for Rubin
One of the best children's writers in modern times is Adam Rubin. It doesn 't flow at all, the meter is all wrong, and his usual comedy is largely lost because he is forced into a structure that is not for him.

Be Warned, Your Kids Will High Five Anything With a Pulse
We're big fans of Daniel Salmieri and Adam Rubin. This book rolls right into there style with a ton of comedy and creativity, and this time it rhymes all! My older had a lot of fun creating his own high five, as the book suggests. One downside both of them have become high five fanatics, high-fiving over the most mundane and routine activities. High Five : High Five : We get used to the fact that our children are high-five champions. You will also need to register.

Like the story, hate the pictures
The story is entertaining, clever and interactive. I would enjoy reading this book much more if the illustrations weren’t awful to look at. I don 't get the aesthetics... it also makes it hard to follow my toddler along.

   My kids (3 & 5) love it!
Book is fun! It is large and aesthetically fun with creative artwork. I sat on the floor to read it to my daughter and my son. As I read, they started high-fiving the book and felt compelled to stand up to provide better high fives. I love that they listened to the story and the bonus was that it got them moving, which helps the little ones learn.

   New Favorite
I had never thought that a book about high fives could be so fun, but it could be our new favorite book by this author!

   Disappointing
We are huge fans of the books by Adam Rubin. I read this book to my children and we all agreed that it did not make any sense and was really disappointing.
