   What if there is no internet?
I bought this book because I decided that having a physical reference book would be handy for times when Google is not -- camping trips with no cell signal, for example. When it arrived, I read it cover to cover. It begins with a good base of what is homeopathy and then goes on to describe treatments in detail throughout each chapter. Despite the fact that I will probably find remedies online when the Internet is available, I now have a better understanding of homeopathy, on which I base my choices. Don 't just read it, buy it too.

   Men Don't have Health issues?
I am not a politically correct person, but this book was a huge disappointment as a single male retiree interested in learning about homeopathy. There are sections on homeopathy for babies, growing children and women, but nothing on men's issues. For example, as we age, prostate issues can arise. There is a section on urinary problems in PREGNANCY. The real insult is that there is a section on homeopathic solutions for PETS! I returned for a refund.

I did receive however on time and as expected. In the review of this book, I did not see that there would be writing and highlighting all throughout the book. It wasn't the big markings ; it was so distracting that I took time to use a typical eraser and get to work.

   old book
I received a hard cover version of the illustrated book. It is partially my fault to not notice a copyright from 1980. I have thrown better books than this in the trash, I can 't get excited about 30 year old information. It is a very disappointing purchase.

I did it for years. It seems to be more confusing and binding. No one has yet convinced me that it is spiritual healing, so it leaves it in the category of energy healing, which delves into the scientific realm. When in doubt leave it out! Also, in looking into homeopathic medicines, I discovered that the man who discovered this healing technique was a high-ranking Mason.

   One of my favorites out of my collection!
I would call myself homeopathic-advanced in knowing and using intermediate techniques. From this book I gained tried and true methods. I like the descriptions, followed by a chart in each section. Would recommend to anyone from advanced to novice looking for knowledge. I received it as a gift and has been one of my favorites and most memorable beyond other more expensive or larger gifts.

   Homeopathic Works!
My children grew up on homeopathic medication and now use it for our grandchildren because they know that it works without harming children or themselves. Our book was so well-worn that it was time to replace it and also to get a copy for our adult children to use with their children.

   Easy to understand...
This is a very basic book to have on hand. It has 11 chapters with titles such as Homeopathy : How to treat and prevent colds, coughs, and earaches. What can homeopathy do for women? Most chapters have charts that help narrow what remedy would be the best choice for a paticular disease. The back has an appendix that has 4 sections entitled Remedies and their abbreviations. Homeopathic Materia Medica Pharmacies carrying minimal medicines are listed. There are 287 pages, including the index, so that even though this is a basic book, it has a lot of information. I find that it is very easy to find things quickly because of the way the book is arranged.
