The overcoming of evil
D Boyd , Sep 19, 2021
An excellent account of five possessions, how they came to be, their successful exorcisms, the people who suffered them, and the men who performed them. If anything , these kinds of situations are more rampant today. Reading this book may help to recognize the signs.

Not Recommened

I managed to navigate through the 200,000 words of Malachi Martin's HOSTAGE TO THE DEVIL. I won 't recommend this book for a long time, but I'm afraid I really can 't recommend it. I will say, I think that he was a very good writer. Thus far too narrative and repetitive. The book seems to be padded for length reasons just out of curiosity. I did, however, appreciate his attempts to give explanations about how the possessions presented in the book took place. The how of possession is often difficult to determine, it seems. But if you do take this book, be sure to read HOSTAGE TO THE DEVIL with several grains of salt. Walter Eugene Lane is a writer by DEMON POSSESSION and DIVINE DELEVERANCE.

Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware)
Derived From Web , Dec 19, 2019
The five factual stories are told in order, in the order that they are for a reason. By the third one, you will wonder what the hell the writer has left that could be even worse. By the fifth, you know. Forget this book. You won 't need to try and forget what you will never read. You won 't be able to ave it from your minds, though, researchers like myself are well versed on this subject and the historical esoteric arts in theory and practice, please heed this advice. Malachi Martin was himself warned by Father Gerald about publishing this book... You realize you won 't get away with it this time, Malachi. Then they walk on their turf. Dangerously, I was arrested. He also didn 't listen, from their point of view.

Excellent collections of true cases
Derived From Web , Feb 12, 2019
I use this book as a study for my Book Series World War Spiritual, which reveals the demonic activity over the centuries. This is not the first book I have read in this subject, but I would say that this is one of the most detailed among those, revealing some of the elements that make the possessions the reality of our modern times. The pattern is recognizable that the ancient possessions are really happening and is not something from the legends or from the demonic times. It is the very same events described in the Bible, which are described in the Bible.
