Great that these books have some of the best bad examples!
Derived From Web , Sep 27, 2021
My family loves these books! Papa, Mama and two little brothers!! We love dinosaurs and the drawings and the challenge of the stories because if the little brothers start acting out, it is very easy to remind either that we've already seen how NOT to do things. Our boys have reached 5 and soon 8 and we have been collecting these books for a long time, How Do Dinosaurs _______.

Great for Dino lover
Derived From Web , Jan 30, 2021
I have an almost three year old son who loves dinosaurs absolutely ''. For him, these books are excellent. The artwork is great and the message that these books encapsulate is even better. They help show the fun and silly way to behave in a correct way. We have several of these books and each is a hit. The predictably in the flow is really helpful in keeping him engaged and involved. Over and over again, we read them.

Bad example for toddlers!
Derived From Web , Nov 28, 2019
We say how do dinosaurs eat goodnight and how do dinosaurs say their food. They begin with how we might imagine dinosaurs acting funny, which is funny and relates to a toddler's impulses. They end up saying no, that is not what they do. I am so glad that I read it before wrapping it for Christmas. The dinosaurs do terrible things like throw coffee mugs at pets, rip all the pages from books, wreck the house and more. The book says that sometimes it is ok to be mad, as if it is normal to behave this way when angry. This book is returning. I was hoping that it would show healthy coping skills like counting breaths, art, exercise, etc. I would never donate this book - it goes back to the sender.

The content wasn't good as I expected
Derived From Web , Aug 13, 2019
First, I wanted to comment on this book from an educator's perspective. I am an early childhood teacher, I found this book interesting to read to my children with a dinosaur theme. This was, however, the first time that I was so upset about a book. The book kept demonstrating how a dinosaur expresses his anger by hurling things, roaring and so on. The dinosaur finally cleaned up his mess and apologized on the last few pages. Honestly, I expected this book to be a book that would teach my little ones to calm down before acting and rethink different resolutions to accept their feelings and express their feelings in an appropriate way.

Social story for great skills. I love this series absolutely! I bought 3 or 4 copies and give them to my students who struggle with anger management. Their parents are always excited to read it with them, especially when they are struggling at home.
