A wonderful book encapsulating the lives of 10 men in the Bible

Ten proven teachings by Patrick Morley is the best book I have ever read by Mr Morley. He summarizes the lives of 10 men's warts and all lets you know about the lives of some men that you have heard, but probably not much know or just don 't look into the depths of their stories. Gideon was to me the greatest example in this book. I knew the name Gideon from a Beatles song, and I knew the name Gideon from Bibles and hotels, but for some reason I had never read the story of Gideon and it was enlightening. No matter what faith you are or even if you have no faith, this is a good book.

This book has encouraged me not only to live by God's word, but also to encourage other men to do so. Thanks and great work! I also purchased Man Alive, which I noticed is from the same author.

After reading it, my thoughts, as well as others in my study group, are that the author has trouble seeing life from other perspective. I think he is very high strung and susceptible to crashing. He had a lot of good points, but often, I think he assumes that everyone is the same as him. Probably a good book for people who have problems with making rash decisions and the consequences that result. I am on the opposite spectrum and tend to be too slow and to overthink things to the point where I am paralyzed, so that I don 't relate well, but even so, there were still good takeaways.
