   Some house plants missing
This is a great book, easy to follow with awesome tips. However, I was just a little disappointed. I really need help with a corn plant and was really surprised that it was not even in the book. Makes me wonder how many more popular house plants aren 't in here. Otherwise, I would recommend it for beginners! Good luck!

BLACK THUMBS ~ YOU NEED THIS BOOK!
This book is a MUST have for anyone and EVERYONE who struggles to understand the most essential concepts of keeping so-called easy houseplants alive, let alone THRIVE. It takes you step-by-step through the process of keeping 119 of the most common houseplants happy and healthy, and the photos are nice and close so that you can see the plants and what the author is describing. I think that EVERYONE, from thumbs of green to black, can learn a few things from reading this book. I have a pretty large library of books on houseplants and this is one of the best!

   Great Book!!!
Book is great! It is small in size like a children's book, but the pictures and information are very detailed. The beginning of the book shows small pictures and names with page numbers so that you don 't have to look for things and is super helpful. This book is my favorite!

   Handy book.
I know that I can just look online and find info, but it is so much more handy to have a book with information that isn 't conflicting and simple to understand. It includes 119 houseplants, even carnivorous plants.

   Great book and nice illustrations
It does, however, not cover our worst plant pests, photographed here. Otherwise, the book is mostly individual profiles of how to care for various houseplants. It does a good job of listing which pathogens and pests are most likely to affect different plant groups. It has not cured our non-cat plant problems, but at least helped us to find a few potential solutions.
